diet macro

Macro mode with my point and shoot camera (Sony DSC-W1 ). I was eating bananas, fruit diet, when I took this photo, sorry mr. banana no other subject eh heheh

Today I got the tripod which I ordered online last week. The wait is sulit, haha tama ba? I tried two nightshots a while ago using the tripod but I can't get enough juice from my camera (point and shoot only). The quality of the photo is not that good, too much noise is produced when using high ISO. Probably I can still tweak some settings to get the most out of my camera.

bandwidth overflow!

I was downloading some linux stuff from the internet when I noticed that my download accelerator showed an abnormal status. My download speed was boosted to 600kbps instead of 300kbps. I thought it was just a bug from the download accelerator software so I did a bandwidth test @ speedtest.net to verify my true speed. The test was very reliable and the speed boost was not a bug hehe good for me!

Is Vista Good?

The much awaited windows vista was launched last January 30, 2007 . Everyone wants to have a copy of it but do we really need it? I myself wants it but I really don't need it because most of the softwares I use has compatibility issues with vista. For testing purposes I still installed it on my system but I'm not satisfied with the performance coz it used 700mb of my ram in idle mode which is not good. It uses a lot of system resources but feature wise it does way better than xp plus it includes the aero graphics which is a cool graphical desktop effects. So if your computer has less than 1gb of ram and has old video card then vista is not for you and just forget upgrading. On the other hand you might try linux with xgl which surpasses the aero graphics of vista and the best thing about it is it's free. Here are some of my screenshots of xgl on my system. (first pic is vista and the others are from linux xgl)

magic crystal ball eh? nah it's just my lampshade. im having trouble getting to sleep this time so i came up an idea to tire up my eyes, staring the bulb! i think this idea is crazy but sure it works hehe 100watts of incandescent light!

Consumer Electronics Show aka CES 2007 was held last January and featured this very awesome little robot that can do complex movements without having gyro sensors in its system.

It's been almost a year now since my last taste of yummy jollibee fast food. So before I went to buy some groceries I went first to jollibee and ordered the classic yumburger meal hehehe Seems that the taste is a lil bit different than what I used to eat last year but it's good enough to satisfy my crave. *jobee smile* hehehe

While driving back home, I easily noticed that there was a full moon. The sky was dark but the moon was very clear and this gave me the idea to take a picture of it. Unfortunately, when I arrived all I can see were clouds and no moon! So I decided to wait just to have 2-3 shots even though it's freezing outside. Luckily, I managed to take 1 good shot and here it is. ^_^
